UKC Ch. Phoenix Imaginary Friend
Foster was added to my gang in August of 2007 when he was 13 weeks old. Foster has some big shoes to fill. My dream Sheltie was going to be a big, flashy blue
merle with attitude. Instead, this guy fell into my lap. He is well built, has attitude but did not make fifteen inches and I had hoped he would!
Foster will be a pup for a bit, learn manners, be a demo pup for my classes and eventually I will work to find his niche as he matures. My hope is a dog like Ryker
who could do both conformation and performance events. My dream is that he will integrate in to The Safe Kids/Safe Dogs Project on top of everything.
Foster has a stunning pedigree and some big shoes behind him. It will be fun to see what he becomes.
On Dec 15, 2007, Foster took a Group 2 at a small UKC show - his first show and first win towards a UKC Championship.
On April, 19, 2008, my nine year old son handled Foster to two Reserves, UKC. Foster is still immature but turned heads and got good comments from the judges.
Connor continues to handle Foster in UKC.
Next fall (2009) I will begin looking at Performance venues for Foster.
