Chanty's Blue Willow, CD, CGC, Therapy Dog really started it all for me.
Until a slipped disc forced her retirement - early - Muffin and I competed in Obedience, Jr. Show and she was on-staff with me at a nursing home I worked at after high school. At 11 1/2, she hiked Cadillac Mt. in Acadia National Park, ME. Muffin did this willingly, in fact, whenever my husband and I stopped to give her a break, she urged us on! When Ryker came along (she was about 13), Muffin's favorite activity was Canine Good Citizen tests. I lost count how many she went through - just because she enjoyed being in the ring.
